Front Drive Shaft CV bad
Was hearing a slight jingling noise for a little while. Like a small, dragging trailer chain but from the front left of the truck. Also, a roaring vibration felt in my feet and steering wheel starting at 70 at first (about a month and half ago). Got progressively worse. Vibration started happening at 50.
Finally crawled under to poke around and change out front universals. Grabbed front drive shaft to pull myself under and noticed a lot of play in the CV joint. Boot was gone. Removed the shaft and all noise and vibration are gone. Getting a Dorman Propeller Shaft CV Joint Kit (932-201) off Amazon.
