for the past few mornings when I back out of the carport I hear a squeak..squeak...squeak...It starts as soon as I start backing out. the faster i go, the faster it squeaks.

If i put the clutch in and let it roll in reverse, no squeak.

this doesnt happen in first or second gear. just reverse.

I need to replace my seals on both ends of the driveshaft and am doing so soon...think this has something to do with it?

So it looks like it was my u-joints. They were toast.

I had the output shaft seal and pinion seal replaced as well.


the problem is that my yolk on the rear end is cracked and they can't get the part until a day or two. So I'm driving with a cracked yolk and squeeky u joints until further notice.
