You'll have to look for your specific vehicle but if you dont want an air locker Eaton trutrac is the best out there.

The Eaton/Detroit TruTrac is a great helical gear driven limited slip differential setup (like the Torsen is) - but it's a far cry from a true locker (Assuming he actually needs one).

They claim it works on 98+ now. I had to read and a guy put one in his 07 I think but he didn't like it. Said you need manual hubs.

Interesting.

I remember when they used to have that asterisk in the application guide that said "not recommended for use in live-axle setups".

The Torsen does great offroad, no clutch slip and pretty much acts like a locker the whole time, until you have one wheel completely off the ground. But while it's out you can sell the Torsen and get an actual locker. Torsen is great, locker is better.

I called the lock right tech support ,it's the 2311-lr but I would have to order a longer crosspin for it

you don't have a solid front axle. I highly suggest you go back to the application chart

They do now list the following when it comes to the lock-right:

Source is page #18 of this PDF: Powertrax Catalog:
1982-1989 - DANA 28 - FRONT = 2116-LR
1990-1997 - DANA 35 IFS WITH I-BEAM SUSPENSION - FRONT = 2310-LR
1998-UP - DANA 35 IFS WITH C.V. AXLESHAFTS - FRONT = 2311-LR

They have been changing all sorts of stuff with their products....

I noticed they are now "hiding" the live-axle warning/disclaimer a few pages back instead of saying it's not recommend to be used without manual hubs right on that part # page (like it used to).

Hi guys I'm new here. I'm going to write an introductory post soon.
In the meantime, I was curious to know how the front locker project went. In thinking of getting one as well.
Thanks,
