Default clutch line plastic disconnect

Can anyone tell me where I can buy this? Its the plastic piece that gets pushed in to release the clutch line from the transmission. Pulled the transmission and it's pretty tore up. Ford didn't know what I was talking about over the phone. Unless I get some info on here I'll drive to the Ford dealer and show it to them. Thanks.

I doubt you're gonna find just that piece. Might have to buy a whole new line.

I used Dorman #628-236 when I did my 5-speed swap. It's listed as being for 95-97 Rangers, but it works just fine in my truck. I got mine from Advance, because my store actually had two of them in stock. Now I can't seem to find that part number in Advance's system. They're pretty pricey though. I think I paid around $80 after online discounts.

Well that's no fun. Clutch is good, all of that is relatively new (2 years ago) but it got tore up last night. It'll go back on....but whether it'll come back off next time is the question.

Depends on how bad it got torn up. If you're just talking about the raised flange, then you should still be able to push on the sleeve with two pocket screwdrivers.

Rock Auto has the whole hose for $27 + shipping. That's a bit to pay for that plastic piece, but it's cheaper than $80.

Or, you can get the entire prebled reservoir, master cylinder, and hydraulic line for $65.
