Default Clunk noise when acceleration from a stop

Hey there.. new to the site so if this is a popular problem I apologize in advance. I have a 2000 3.0L 5speed Super Cab 2wd, recently I have started to hear a clunk when I accelerate from a dead stop. It is like a CV axel pop (I know there are no CV axels just example for reference). It seems to only happen when I am at a dead stop and accelerate.

Also was under the truck the other day; how much rotational play should there be with the drive shaft with the transmission in gear and the wheels on the ground??

Thanks for your help!
