hey i got a 94 ranger 4wd with a t/trans i just replaced the modulator on the tranny cuz it was no good but now im experiencing problems were wen it shift from 2nd to 3rd it seem to be rev up or slipping or something idno i need held and info. it shifts smooth and fine just that little problem does anyone got any ideas please.

level is operating range. its is fresh fluid that was just put in. its smells like reg tranny fluid and its still a redish color its not burnt or anything. it started after i changed the tranny modulator. its like it has a delay or something

Did you reset the ECU after the fix?

no how would i do that? pull that battery or something?

Yes, disconnect the battery for 10-15 min. That will reset the ECU. Give the truck about 100 miles for it to relearn all the sensors. It might shift odd for thoose miles but after 100 it should be back to normal.

okay thanks i just reset it. i will wait a 100 miles or so to see if it works.

did that work for you cause mine is doing the exact same thing???
