Get some good 235/75/15 mud tires and learn how to drive.

Put a set of the skinniest tractor tires you can find on the back of it. You'll be good. Thick tread and skinny tire in mud you'll be good.

With traction control on hold in your traction control button until your traction control light flashes it will turn advancetrac off. I had the same problem in my 11 4x4 4.0 and its the same on all new fords including my 2011 5.0 i know exactly what you are talking about.but I just read my owners manual

holding the button down does not completely disable traction control. it will still intervene and apply the brakes AND limit RPM. doesnt matter if you just push the button once, or hold the button down until the light comes on, goes out and comes back on.

the only was to fully disable traction control is to pull the fuse (10A) that supplies power to the ABS module. i wired a switch in to the wire between that fuse and the ABS module. i flip the switch and then start the truck, ABS, ESC and the park brake light come on, no ABS or traction control functionality. shut the truck off, flip switch back on and then when the truck is started next, lights are off and no codes stored.

If you stay under 30mph turning the advance trac off it will not at anytime apply brakes to your truck search button its mentioned above 30mph the stability control kicks back in. I know on my 11 4.0 it never once kicked back on below 30

right, but as soon as you spin the wheels or you know, have some fun in a snowy parking lot, chances are youll get over 30 real quick. especially if youve got no traction.
