Default Brand new clutch will not disengage

Ive got a 97 2.3L manual i replaced the clutch, pressure plate, slave cylinder, throwout bearing. everything is together and kosher, but when i start her up, it won't go into gear, with engine off, it goes into all gears smoothly. i have a good hard pedal and can see through the view hole in the tranny that there is travel of the t/o bearing. the clutch just won't disengage. by the way, its all been bled. ALOT

any responses are accepted and appreciated PLEASE HELP!!!!

Did you replace the pilot bearing, and if so you might have damaged it installing the trans, also are you sure the clutch disk isn't in backwards.

tomboy, pilot bearing is good to go and no lol i did not put the disc on backwards valid points though.
and 96_4x4_xlt i watched a video that says to bench bleed the master

what if I'm getting good t/o movement(no actual measurements noted) but it still won't disengage?
