Default Hw much play in the slip yoke shaft coming out of transmission

I have a vibration at around 50 mph that seems to be coming from the rear (feel it on the seats, steering wheel steady). The tires balance have been checked.
I got under the truck to check U-joints (although there is no noise), and found the rear one in good order.
However, when checking the one closer to the transmission, I felt some play (up/down) on the yoke that comes out of the transmission to the u joint. I noticed some wetness just after the boot on the tranny through which this shaft goes through - no drip, just wetness.

My drive shaft is one piece with u joints in the ends. 2wd truck, Auto.
