Default Already swapped in 8.8" have brake question

Hey folks. I have a few questions concerning my rear axle swap. I have an 03 Mazda B3000 Dual Sport and I already swapped the axle from a 96 Explorer. The swap was a piece of cake and I really like the locker and disc brakes, but here's the fly in the soup so to speak. To me all was good, but the few times my wife has driven it, she says (before any comments she has no problems with the swap and knows some about cars also) the brakes feel "funny". At first I let it go, the more time passes the more she has gotten in my head and now I feel I may need to change the master cylinder or proportional valve due to the new disc brakes.
Now sense the swap, it does seems to nose more during braking. So my questions are if I do need to change something, would it be the master cylinder? If so what year and model should I use and is it a direct bolt in?
So, did I miss a step during the swap??

The answer is:

No one KNOWS for sure. Alot of people say change MC to an Explorer MC, but I come up with the same part numbers as our Rangers. Your Ranger should have 4 (actually 3) wheel ABS and proportioning is controlled by the ABS solenoid. Many people say to bleed the shit out of the brakes multiple times, so I plan on trying that when I get my setup complete. Others completely get rid of the ABS system, but I am not a big fan of that.

Like I said, there is no clear cut answer but I would attempt to rebleed the system.

both are the same "part" so to speak, but one is valved for disk/drum (ranger) and the other disk/disk from factory. it plays into how quickly the fronts vs the rear react.

How are they the same part if they are different? From every thing I have seen, there are only 2 options for Rangers and Explorers from 97-2005. Cruise control or not. After 05 it seems as if the only other option is traction control. Those 2 part numbers are the same for the earlier (97-05 Rangers and Explorers).

Is there any other evidence that suggests they are DEF 2 different MCs for the Ranger and Explorer?

I show different OEM part numbers for a 2001 ranger and a 2001 explorer but its weird.

There is 1 part number that is the same for both though. The ranger one and one of the explorer ones don't say anything but one two of the explorer ones say without speed control or with speed control

There are 2 different ones for a ranger, one with cruise and one without. There are 2 different ones for an Explorer, traction control or not. They share one.

Part numbers for Ranger from Napa:
with cruise: M3413
without cruise: M3412

Parts numbers for Explorer:
with traction: M4689
without traction: M3413

The M4689 is a totally different Master as is all years that have Traction control.

I guess I just want to know the part numbers for the Explorer Master people are changing to.

Thanks for all the info, but to be honest it hasn't answered my question completely and sounds like my best bet is to just bleed, rebleed, and bleed some more. Uggg. I did it several times during the swap but must need more.
Has anyone else on here done the swap yet? As for mine, I do have the cruise control. It has rear disc, locker, 4:10.1 gears and 31" tires. The truck itself has a few other mods but always improving.

Ford lists 3 for an 01 explorer and none have traction control.
I didn't bother looking into aftermarket ones but I'm also curious what people use
