Tranny pulsating noise
Ok, today I was driving my truck around doing some errands. I was stopped at a light and noticed my idle drop, stutter and recover to normal. (all in about 2 sec) It drove fine the rest of the time (no warning lights). I got home parked in the driveway and began to play. I couldn't get it to replicate what had happened but I noticed this noise. Here is the scenario:
-Stopped in driveway, foot on brake. -Pulsating (WAA WAA WAA WAA WAA) in R, D, 1, 2 -No noise in N, P. -Noise changes with RPM's. I have never noticed this noise before. Background on truck: Runs great, only issue is hard shifting into O/D under mod to heavy acceleration. Been doing that for 12,000 miles. I just ease off the pedal to make a easy gear change. Think it's time for a tranny rebuild? Thanks for any help.

Well, I figured it out. I overfilled the tranny by about half a quart......thank god for the drain plug I installed. Made quick work of it.
