hole in front axle housing...
ok, so i've got a rough country lift and it put a hole in my front axle housing... just found it, had my tires off and BAM there it was. Its not a big hole, but definitely something of concern. Just wondering if anyone knows if i can weld on the front housing without damaging it? I was planning on taking a plate of somekind and covering the hole, or if i can find a cheap front axle i'd just swap out the whole thing. Suggestions please, and input would be fantastic! This axle also already has manual hubs so i don't wanna have to "move" those to another axle.
