Yes it is possible. If you can get your hands on some axles, a transfer case and other parts.

It is easier to go 4wd with a manual transfer than the switch on the fly system.

like what everyone else said, but honestly most are going to agree unless you can find alot of great things in a junk yard and have good fabrication skills your going to be better off to sell your 2wd and look to buy a 4wd. ive seen a few do it but ALOT of things have to go right for you to pull it off well so most opt to sell and get a 4wd. but that being said if you'd rather try to make yours into a 4wd then more power to ya, just know that its going to be a pretty big project and might be easier just to let it go and try and buy one.

Would be easier to find a 4wd truck like yours and just swap the cab and bed.

Everything is a bolt on except the rear mount for the front differential. cut the mount off the donor truck or fabricate one.
complete front axle(with gear to match your rear axle), axle shafts, spindles, transmission, transfer case, both driveshafts, and radio bezel. Be sure the spindles match your brake setup(rabs or 4wabs) To do it factory style you will need to change the dash wiring harness and you will need the 4x4 body control module located beside the radio. This harness also extends down to the transfer case to connect the electric transfer case motor. You might need the frame harness to get the plug for the transfer case. You may be able to create your own harness for the transfer case If you change your dash harness make sure it has power doors if you have power doors.

Its not a bolt on because you don't have an edge, the easiest way is a new frame...

Thus you do an SAS. Just because you SAS it, doesnt mean you have to lift it a lot. You can still get it stock height if thats wanted. You can run leafs all the way around it. Thats another option.
