Default Regear People, pattern help!

Hey guys, I am regearing but I think I am overthinking everything. First off, used a Ratech tool to get pinion CD depth and that was a complete fail. So, I just used a 30/1000 spacer and away we went with pattern running.

From what I can gather, this pattern indicated too close of a pinion correct? Stock shim was 23/1000, maybe thats the next step. Just looking for opinions of people who have expereince in this.

Thanks!
Jim

Looks better than before. Are you only adjusting the pinion? Or the carrier too? To me, it looks like the ring needs shifted away from the pinion ever so slightly.

What's the backlash looking like?

OK this is after final install, what does everyone think? Coast side looks like pinion depth is off, but drive side looks good and apparently is more important. Think I'm just going to run them and see, because it took me so damn long to get them together and install No Slip.
