Okay so I might have access to a 2002 f150 rear axle from work. Its an 8.8 running a 3.55 ls and it has disk breaks. Would this be able to fit on my 06 if I swapped? The shock mounts and everything I would imagine are pretty much similar and I would need to regear obviously since I have 4.10s now

That axle I believe is much wider. I don't think it would work.

I would look for an explorer axle with 4.10LS
