I can hear a clunking sound sometimes when I shift into, drive in, and shift out of 4th (M5OD-R1 tranny). It's been getting more frequent. It doesn't seem to affect driving (i.e. I can't feel any major jerks when it happens) but it didn't do this until relatively recently.

I've scoured forums but I can't find anything similar to the issue.

Did you check the sticky of this forum? Could be the problem.

Yep. I just greased up the slip yoke yesterday. Fixed the clunking when speeding up and slowing down but there is still the clunking in fourth.
