Default limited slip slipping

Anyone ever notice while driving with a limited slip diff on snow that it tends to have moments where it jolts or jumps slightly as if it were slipping or gripping out of time with the driveshaft ? Ihave and I notice that if I left off the gas for just a second that it stops, yet its unsettling when it does it at highway speed on snow in 4WD. Also tends to grab as you round corners on dry roads in 2WD mode.

24,000 miles. Not a lead foot. Thats not the problem. A little slop in the diff gears seems to be the problem.

you're having problems with your rear-end at 24,000 miles! wow, see i'm pretty sure i finally broke my l/s over winter when i had one tire on a patch of ice, and the other on pavement... yeah i heard a big POP! or something like that... still drives though but i have 165,000 on mine hahaha.

One thing might be though if you take those corners to fast, as in you have your foot in the gas as you're goin around... but driving along in the snow, i ain't got a clue. It'd really suprise if there was too much slop in the gears though, cause the newer trucks are designed to have pretty tight gears, as the technology allows for it.
