Bronco axle compatibility question.
Hey guys soo my gears in my rear axle went out. Instead of getting new gears and what not i just want to put another axle with the gears already in it back there. Do I have to stick with the 8.8? Or will another axle fit? Im running 35's and i need 4.10 or 4.11 gears. Any help much appreciated!
----------
Sorry its a 1991 Ford Bronco idk if that would help at all

re: Bronco axle compatibility question.
if its a fullsize bronco then you could put a 9" in, idt they came with anything smaller. if its a small bronco then you can put in a 7.5 but thats not gonna love those 35's. if its 4wd you need to make sure you get the same gear ratio as what was in there otherwise your just gonna mess the front up when you go to put it in 4wd

its fullsize with a 8.8....im going to change the front gears later on...i just want to put an axle in the back with 4.11's so it goes well with the 35's...im not going to switch it into 4wd until i switch the gears in the front....do y'all know of any good sites or places to get complete axles with the gears in it?

junk yard, or carpart.com may have somthing but I've never really got that in depth on that website. And oreillys will sell you a complete rear end but they charge $$$$$

Re: Bronco axle compatibility question.
forums:
fullsizebronco.com
gofastbroncos.com
parts:
broncograveyard.com
personally, i'd go to the forums specifically about your vehicle to get legitimate answers.
