rear end
Can i take my single wheel drive rear end out of my ranger and put a 2 wheel drive in it or does it take major modification.and not just changing the differential but the complete rear end off another truck and if so with me having a 93 whats the latest year i could go up to 97 or what

Any Ranger or Bronco II rearend is a "bolt-in", checkout the tech library for specifics, but the only difference would be if yours is a 7.5 which is the most common, or an 8.8, along with gear ratio. If you've got a 3.73 open, then you need a 3L73 which is a L/S. And for some reason, I believe the Bronco II's are a tad narrower, as that's what I put under my Son's 93 and his tires tuck better than my 94 with 98 Explorer 8.8. GOOD LUCK in your search!
