Default synthetic differential fluid for open diff...

2010 ranger 2.3L with manual tranny and a 3.73 open difff....

I bought 2 quarts of mobil one 75-90 gear oil full synthetic and on bottle says it has the limited slip friction modifier.

Is this OK to use on the ranger open diff or its only to be used on limited slip diffs??

I drive my ranger 1100 miles a week in extreme windy conditions and on some parts going uphill. I need the best.

I recently replaced my tranny fluid with Mobil1. The fluid that came out looked like coffee! Thanks a lot, p.o. There is no doubt I can feel a difference. Thankfully it only took 2-1/2 quarts.

it's like 3 hours of driving a day. Ive heard the rear end isn't as picky about regular vs synthetic fluid. The tranny is a different story. My manual works alot better with synthetic during the winter.
