Default Modding my recently bought ranger

hey everyone. Since i just bought my very first truck i have deicide to join this forum because it is very useful even though i did not own a vehicle back then.
Well to start off i added details in my signuture and i forgot to mention it has 88k, bought for 5500 with title.
I have already done some research that i would like to do but first thing is first and that is maintance. My only problem is that i can not find a full exhaust for the 4.0 ranger, i have deicided on jba headers and magaflow high flow cats. My question is, do i have to have some weld on some new flanges and blend the pipe so i can add the cat back or what? Any thoughts?
Happy i joined guys! thanks

Welcome. No need for a bolt on cat-back, just find a muffler you want and have some one weld into place of your current. Just make sure inlet/outlet are correct diameters. From what I recall the headers do not do much on these trucks for the price and the cats are already near as good as they will get stock, especially for the price.

I understand. so what would be the ideal exhaust diameter for this truck? 2.5"? 3.0''?
Well i have always hated factory headers IMO, that is why i would like to switch them out..or later

Welcome in. Can I suggest you take a look at this link? It has a lot of the little things we have done to our trucks to improve the performance, comfort or appearance of our trucks. It's a nice one-stop place for all things Ranger.
