Hey man, finished my interior....would like to finish it off with a heavey clear coat but this is fine for now....just converting the switches over to blue LEDs, check out the paint...not as bad with tan as I initially thought.

ah, gotcha. well, lots of guys just pull out a lot of the interior pieces, keep the main dash in, mask off everything, and pain all the interior black with a can. The only way to get the main dash piece is to drop the driving column.

Oooo, you are unfourtinate enough to have the tan stuff huh? I dont like the tan at all. I loved the black and gray but going to gray and yellow was sweet. Every thought of going to a junkyard and finding a black and gray interior?

I would love to, not sure if white would be right...Got the tan interior so either white or maybe gloss up the black pieces...Might take me some time to decide lol. Wish I had the drk/gray-black like you got, then I'd def drop some white in there!!

Just saw your pics too. Very nice truck! Were you planning to do white pieces on the inside or mix it up with a different color?

Thanks man! The paint job aint that great right now but its still good quailty holding up. Its all done with spray cans. With the parts i just took them off and masked off things if they need it. For the center bezel I took off that rubbery stuff on it, it took a while but it has to be done to paint it. Then i would do a coat of primer and sand it with a low grit sandpaper, more primer and a little higher grit sandpaper, and then one more primer coat finished up with a very high grit sandpaper. After all the primer is done I put 3 coats of the yellow spray can paint on it. If you use a high gloss paint you dont need a clearcoat since its already in the paint. If a flat satin color is used and you want a bit of shine use a clear coat 24 hours after the color dries.
Later on when the Ranger isnt my daily driver and only car im gonna take out the entire interior and get it all powdercoated black and then do the yellow in the same areas with yellow powdercoating.

Wow, that interior is awsome, how did you coat your parts? spraycan, or use a spray gun with auto paint? or was it just sent out to be painted?
