i cant remember exactly but it was between 400-800 grit sandpaper, u can go with finer but it will take you a lot longer.

you have to sand the green film off the back of the gauge overlay, then u can make then whatever color you want. there is a thread on it somewhere just search led cluster

How'd you get the control cluster to light up blue? i have a 01 and i tried to put blue LED light in it but they are still a green with a blue tint to them now... how'd you do yours?
