Hey Ben, thanks for your message. I think I am going to have to pass on the offer, though I do really appreciate you remembering that you wanted to give me first crack at it. The reason I have to pass is twofold...number one we just got back from our cross country camping trip (using my home brew Ranger camper) and I'm a bit low on cash for the forseeable future. Second, this trip made me realize that I too am going to upgrade to an F150 sooner rather than later in order to camp in a bit more comfort. Thanks again though for the offer, I do appreciate it. I just think I'm probably gonna bite the bullet and go big for next camping season.

I have been seriously thinking of upgrading to a F250 and large truck camper. I will be putting up my 03 4.0 ranger and the Taxan camper for sale. I think I mentioned I would give you first dibs at it. It is a nice set up. Camp anywhere. No need for electricity. LP powered fridge. 3 burner stove. and a small furnace that works but never gets used. One 12 volt battery that runs the lights or it can be plugged into shore power.
Ranger is a 2003 4.0 automatic 4x4 XLT extended cab (2 half doors). FX4 series 2 so it is the largest one on the market. Also has a matching topper. The A/C works!!! I put Helwig helper springs on the back which would stay with the camper if sold seperately.
Let me know if you are interested in it . Doreen and I have one more camping trip to Itasca Sate Park the 23rd to 36th.
