Hey,
My main headunit for it all is the music interface, which acts as the master switch. The interface turns the lights onto lit or they can be switched to music beat activated. Then it branches off into 3 switches. The switches are determined by legal interior, illegal interior, and exterior which is all illegal.
The whole thing which is wired ultimately into the music interface is wired into the cig lighter wires. That has a proper fuse and I have over 20 leds hooked through the system and it holds up great!
