Well I was thinking I was just going to un crank the bars about 3 or 4 turns (not all the way out). And with the rear, I was going to remove the blocks and flip the leafs. I also am putting in new Monroe shocks on the truck as we speak. I heard that those will still be good if I'm going to lower it a bit. Instead of getting new u bolts made, can't I get some that comes stock on the XLT's?

Hey Man!! Yea I let mt subscription expire.. On the rear I just removed the blocks and had new u-bolts made. You can run factory shocks for a while but will need to get some XLT shocks soon. On the front I uncranked the bolts completely out and had to put one back in to level the front.. You also will want to cut the front bump stops, until you get a set of 3/8 pancake bumps from jegs/summit...

Hey man! I'm trying to lower my Edge and hope you wouldn't mind me asking a few questions. I already have 255/45/20 rims and tires and want to have a nice stance look towards the truck. How did you do the rear? If I remove my blocks, can still use my original u bolts or would I have to get different ones. Also, should I flip my leaf springs or what?

And with the front, I think I'll just un crank it about 3-4 times. I don't feel comfortable taking the bolts all the way out.

Any help or a fast response would be appreciated. I'm outside right now working on the shocks and while I'm at it, I thought I should lower it. Thanks man!
