Right on man! Yeah, 30s on 3.73s with the 2.3 is just fine. I couldn't take anymore of those stock Continental Radials. Haha. Well congrats on the purchase of the Ranger. They're bulletproof little machines that are only going to become more rare as the years go on since they don't make em anymore. I can wait to see what you do to the truck. Definitely keep me posted!

It'll be a while before I make the change. Gotta wait for the wife to get a job before I even start to save up the money. When I'm able to I'm planning on putting in 4.10 and L/S to go with the tires. I don't like he fact that I can get stuck in my front yard after it rains. I do have the 2.3 with the manual trans. I don't plan on going any bigger than the 30s and they seem big enough for a 2wd any way. I just traded in my 12 ram for the ranger. The ram was way to expensive to drive or modify.

Not a whole lot man, but I noticed it a little bit. The manual trans definitely helps a lot if you have it. In my opinion, 30x9.5x15 is the perfect size for a non-lifted Ranger. Absolutely no rubbing whatsoever, still fills out the wheel well, and they don't dog the 2.3 too hard (if thats what you have under the hood). I won't be lifting or putting bigger tires on until I've run the 4banger engine into the ground and can swap a 4.0 in and do some rear diff work. Good luck! Let me know when you post up pics of the 30's on it...as far as I can see most guys without lift either go with 235/75s or 31s. So my set up on one of the late model 2.3s is pretty rare...

Hey man the truck looks badass. I was just wondering how much loss of power and MPG you had when you put on the 30x9.5x15 tires. I'm looking to do the same thing.
