Yeah you gotta be extra careful! Haha. That HID system must have been awesome. I'd totally get a really nice lighting system if i knew i'd use it enough to get my money's worth. But i really would be using it about once a week so i went with the cheapest i could find. Haha.

Yea... Niteriding IS a bit extreme. especially since i am married!
    FUN THOUGH!
My handheld LED lights have 320 Lumen
I could ALWAYS use those for night riding! LOL

I do miss my H.I.D 55 watt setup, though! Dang that was a bright light!

Haha. Yeah it's great to hear that other people like to do what i do instead of calling me crazy! Haha. It's pretty funny actually... your bike is set up almost like mine, same travel basically and i run a Hayes brake for my front. I've got an Avid Elixir for my rear though. Personally i'd run Avid but i'm broke so, yeah. Haha.
I just bought a Niterider Sol LED light, so i'm hopefully it'll be ok for my cross country trail in the dark.. I used it in my backyard and it seemed decently bright. But i guess anything's better than using three flashlights like i did last time...

GIANTs are awesome bikes for the money!
I have 6" front travel on Marzocchi Shocks
and 5.5" in rear with the FOX Shox.
mine came with Hayes Hydraulic Brakes
(THESE BRAKES HAVE SAVED MY LIFE MORE THAN A FEW TIMES)

I just sold my HID system that i put together from a raptor ATV
t was 55 watts! I needed money. HaHa...it was like riding in daytime!!!
Now i am back to my old NiteRider setup
Great to hear we have so much in common!

Lol. No he wasn't a very good photographer... And yes, i love mountain biking. I mainly just ride downhill and sometimes i race when i have the time and money. I do a bit of cross country to stay in shape too. That picture was actually from the last race i did.
That's kinda ironic because i just bought a light too! I figured since it'll be getting dark soon, i could use one to ride after i get home from school. It's a whole different experience at night for sure. And i ride a Giant Warp DS 2. Can't tell from the pic really, but it is. Just heavily upgraded to suit my needs for downhill and freeride.
