Default Bed liners

Anyone know of a good plastic bed liner that will cover past the top edge of my tailgate. I just bought an 02 Ranger XLT but it had a camper top on it and there is scratches and a little rust along the top of the bed, the worst being on the tailgate. I was hoping to cover any rust spots with a clear cost then dropping a plastic bed liner to cover the unsightly parts.

Thanks.

Why? I think they look good and will cover the dents/scratches left from the previous owner.

Spray in for sure. But if you don't want to pay the $$ for linex or rhino then you can buy the rustoleum liner from walmart and spray/roll that on.
I did mine as a spray in. I highly recommend rolling it in because i have a metric shit ton of over spray on my roof. Its held up pretty good. My 4x4 block i have in my bed has bounced around and hasnt chipped/scratched the liner at all. I only sprayed two coats.

yes but what you dont see is the plastic liner shifting and wearing the paint off...they also trap water...so you end up with a nice rusty bed

Plus the scratches are on the outer edge if the tailgate. Other then getting the car repainted I feel like the plastic would cover it.

the only downside to spray ins are the initial cost but they are well worth it

Thanks a lot guys, saved me a bunch of worry. This is my first Ranger (and pickup) so this is all new to me. Anything else that I should definitely do? 2002 XLT Crewcab.

I will soon be removing the camper top.

Repaint all your trim back to black, will drastically change the look of the truck and its pretty cheap to do
