Default What can i use to clean this?


I have tried glass cleaner and degreaser, I am unsure of what to get this off

Looks like calcimum build up....maybe CLR?

I have determined that most mechanical / electrical challanges are directly connected to the nut that connects the steering wheel to the drivers seat.

maybe try White vinegar?

Just don't use anything caustic on it (glass cleaner w/ammonia, vinegar, c.l.r., etc.), it'll etch the plastic if you leave it on long at all.

If you go to your local auto parts store like carquest( a store that sells paint suppies) and get a bottle of Finesse( i think thats how its spelled) I helped restore a '74 vette and that stuff did an amazing job on all the dash plastic. looks brand new.
