not trying to be a jerk, because it looks like you did a great job and the truck looks awesome, but there is no thing such as a wax/polish all in one.... sorry again it's just a pet peeve of mine when companies mislead consumer by mixing these terms all together (none of this is directed at you, so please don't take it personally) but a polish contains abrasives in it (whether they are diminishing or nondiminishing) and is generally high in oils, but offer 0 protection, while a wax is just opposite of that, it contains no abrasives, but offers great protection, obviously. Now, cleaner waxes are a little different, they are a wax that provides a little protection, but instead of abrasives they contain fillers that do nothing more but fill in the light scratches and swirls in your paint. Just wanted to clear that up. Again not trying to be a jerk.

Right I hear ya, and I don't take it like that at all. But I just put that there because people tend to say polish than wax and wax than polish so I put both down. But I use Turtle Wax Black Box and after that, after washes I put on Meguires Ultimate Detailer.

just a tip, cuz i'm little confused to the last statement here... if you polish after you wax, you remove that wax so it does you no good to keep repeating the 2 steps.... I don't think you meant that, but I wanted to clear that up.

Right no, I don't do that. I use first use a clay bar kit on the entire truck, and than a pre cleaner, than the wax and then a final buff. And after washing the truck (after the wax and all on) I would dry it up in the shade and put Meguires Ultimate Detailer on and put back that amazing black mirror shine I always get lol.

That's just way to much! lol. I use some kind of special pink wax and mine shines pretty great! lol. It's been about 2 months since I last waxed it.

Nope I also do detailing as well in my company so, technically, we know our shit LOL! And we only use the good stuff. I just do that on a daily basis. When I want a good detail on the truck, go to the shop

sounds like a standard quick detail to me... although I only claybar every couple months, not everytime I wash it.

I clay bar once every month and then do all the detailing. My clay bar spray smells like the Big Red gum no lie! lol

Yeah, I went to a local shop and the guy said "You want it to shine and look clean?" I said "Yeah, that's about right!" then he went and got that pink wax and said "This will do it.". It was $18...
