I have used that several times on the truck to get sap off and when I swapped my ranger badges it took the glue off also. No paint was harmed

I would try that if that does not work get the clay bar kit. Clay bar kit is really worth it to give your truck a new factory like shine plus remove the spray paint.

goof off comes in a variety of bottles.
I have seen it in a aerosol spray and I have seen it in a pump spray
