Wash your truck, use the cleaner wax, then the clay bar, then a good name brand wax. Everyone has a preference, personaly I have used many kinds, they all work well. I like a good solid wax, better then the wipe on stuff, although that stuff does work well as technology has progressed. I still don't trust it. I used Nufinish on my 35 year old Buick, worked AMAZING! On my own trucks I usually use turtle wax. Just my 2 cents

Use the cleaner wax to get the crap off left behind from the clay bar. Then put a nice wax on after

Because I have a Maguires Cleaner Wax | Cleaner wax is temporary. Use a dedicated wax if you want a lasting protection and shine. That will make all the difference, I only use the cleaner wax to help pull crap out of my paint.

just a tip, being your truck is red, and red oxidizes and dries faster then most auto paint colors... you might have to wax the truck multiple times. The reason behind this is that since you haven't waxed it in a few years, the clear coat might be dry and when applying the wax, it might pull the oils/chemicals of the wax unevenly. This will create a "spotty" wax job where some spots are shinier then others. Your truck might not be the case, but just a heads up in case this happens.

no reason why you couldn't do it yourself.... apply wax in a shade, wait 15 min, remove, and see what it looks like, apply another coat, wait another 15 min, remove.... you should be good, if not then just repeating the steps until you get a nice clean shine
Rafal
ps for best adhesion of the wax, I would wash and clay bar the truck before putting wax on.
