looking to try my hand on some buffing. been watching different youtube videos and there are a few that recommend the harbor freight buffer for beginners because it is cheap. anyone tried it?

I have the HFT Dual Action Polisher...works good. I would suggest it although use quality pads, and products though.

ohh yeah ill be using quality products. just dont want to spend a hundred plus dollars on the griots garage or meguires buffer until i get the hang of it

what about a buffer like this? my dad has one like this. will it work good to remove light swirl marks?

Yeah, the HFT DA is perfect for beginners. Like Yeller told me, A DA is a DA, same internal parts but upscale ones offer more options and are obviously better quality. I have used the HFT DA on multiple vehicles and works great. Best part is that I only part is that I only paid $50 for it. I'd say go for it.

Unless you have some experience, I would suggest a Dual Action Polisher. Even if you do have experience, I still suggest the Dual Action Polisher.

i mean ive done everything but buffing. clay bar. polishing. compounding. waxing. ext all by hand
