Default Headlights

Does anybody know how to get this off? It's left over from vht nightshades. I tried gas and nail polish remover and its still there, I don't even know what this is. Any ideas and help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Before you try sandpaper try I soak it in brake fluid for a few hours. It will dissolve the paint and not damage the plastic

Sanding even with very fine sand paper will leave scratches.

I've used brake fluid on the tail light for my bike a few times. Just pick up a cheap gallon or the old half used quarts laying in the garage work fine. Find a container that's a little bigger then the headlight and pour about a half inch of brake fluid in. Set light in and let sit for about 2 to 4 hours and it should just wipe off with a rag. If it doesn't all come off just repeat if it made progress. Make sure to wash all the brake fluid off before you reinstall the light on the truck

When all else fails you could buy a new light assembly from Amazon or ebay
