Default Cleaning

Hey guys, I gave my truck the time and attention yesterday, I washed off all the mud and put on some wax for the first time in years. The truck is looking hasn't looked this good in a few years.

Put a light facing the paint, and take a picture of the reflection of the light.
Look at the thread on here that I made that says 'jeep rubicon paint correction' and youll see what I'm talking about.

X2 on the clay bar, no better feeling then having a squeaky clean truck!

No I haven't. I actually started out washing the mud out of the wheel wells and the body, then I put some Armor All on the tires and wheel well (looks great!). I got out some wax and started applying. I was thinking about a clay bar but I decided to do that when I had more time and better weather. (Summer).

check out griots garage for the clay bar, or detailedimage.com

and get a nice clay lube, youll be amazed after just claying. it will remove some of the haze in your paint, which your paint is actually really hazy

what kind of tire dressing did you use?

I used Armor All on the tires and wheel wells. I used Ice for wax. How long would it take to use clay?

In my opinion armor all is too messy.
Depends the grade of Clay an condition of the paint.

But for the single cab truck probably around 1-1.5 hours

Armor all is a bit too messy. I just don't know what good products to use, most of the time I don't spend too much time detailing my vehicle. Except for the Mustang. I was looking into getting Meguiars or Turtle. Something like that.
What grade of clay would you suggest? 1-1.5 hours doesn't seem too bad.

Get a can of sc1, you can use it on any rubber. That stuff is amazing!
I would get a medium grade clay bar. Make sure you use a clay lube, water works but not as good. And don't use diluted dish soap
