Default What to Use to Remove Pine Tree Sap?

Any ideas on what one can use to remove pine tree sap from a soft Tonneau Cover without damaging the cover?

I use Gunk bug and tar remover. You can get them at Walmart for around 3.00 a can. Spray it on, let it soak and go over it with a soft netted sponge, then wash it off with carwash soap

When I lived in Florida I always used dryer sheets soaked in hot water to get the love bugs off my truck. Works great and won't harm anything. Should work the same for pine sap.

+1. I believe that I have used this product, and it comes in an orange and white can. Turtle Wax also makes a product called Bug n Tar Remover that works well. It, too, can be purchased at Wal-Mart for under $5, and it is in a white can with a green lid.

I like to stay away from all those expensive types of removers and stick with what i know does work and that would be good old WD 40
works great with removing bugs and tar and does a great job with tree sap too.

Easier to replace wax than having to replace paint, And very much more cost friendly, You are correct it will remove the wax but for reasons stated above it is much easier to lay down another coat of wax . then problem is solved.

lol that's alittle dramatic dont you think? I use a wet towel with warm water and follow up with quick detailer + a dry towel. Or if the truck is already dirty I wash it. EIther way, the sap comes off super easy and the wax is still there
