I wash mine that much because its a work truck( I do landscaping) and its raining all the time now.Its easier to clean a weeks worth of dirt off then 2 weeks and I like how my truck looks dry when its raining with a fresh coat of wax

haha a run you mean won and for your windows i have this powder type stuff that can get anything off the windows not joking. I have no water spots on my truck nor the chrome or the windows.

i really wish i didn't have to do this but lol
Every time i wash it i use spray on wax to keep a protective layer from the sun.
this just shows how good this stuff is

awesome beeds

no water spots on the chrome

any my engine looks like this 12 months out of the year. Only gets a little dusty nothing more.

white is the best color to have because it so easy to keep clean. This is a pic of my truck with water spots from rain and dust all over it but you can't tell. it looks clean

plus i love when people say what year is that a 08? 09? i smile and say no its a 01. LOL yes the truck is over 10 years old not bad for a 10 year old truck.

:edit older pics. SHe has always been clean-

other cleaning

My waterspots are permanently etched into the glass. After trying like 10 products that didn't do shit, I used steel wool and alot of elbow grease and got a ton of the spots off, but a lot remained. Its obvious that the remaining spots are permanent and that's why I want new glass.

I polish my with a compound(I use on my truck paint) , should be able to get it off..Blowing glass is something I do to pay bills and thats where I started using it

yup, tried that and and clay bar. It didn't work as good as steel wool. Dont get me wrong, my method got the windows looking 10x better, basically everything that could be removed did get removed. But the rest of the spots are part of the glass now

Try using a Dealer detailer quality window cleaners WITH steel Wool. I had alotta water spots on mine, and a detailer at one of the dealerships i work at, used this "high quality" window cleaner with steel wool (not at the same time, but after its been wooled) and also a razor blade... (just be very careful lol) my windows look like new!

takes alotta elbow grease, but it works!

i'm with Marie on this one.....

its not a one time thing.....i've got a 15 y/o truck that looks like Dixies on a weekly basis....it was clean when i got it and i clean it every week to keep it spotless

so even when its filthy (to me) it still looks amazing

btw: Dixie....way off topic but......i still have something for you....i totally forgot about it until just now...

I wash my truck every week, to week and a half, i dont wax it much because ill either fuck up and get it on plastic, or wont get it all off. About once a month i do a full detail on the interior/exterior, but i use my truck for everything, so its hard to keep it from getting dirty.

Thats a great point Marie. I guess that's why my name pops up when someone mentions cleaning their trucks. Because I do keep my truck clean. To some it may be a truck, but to me its an extension of me that reflects who I am and what I value and what I work had for. It shows that it isn't something that was given to me, but something I work hard for and want to keep nice.

Yeah chris I need that!

Alright jt, talking that smack lol. Just so ya'll know, jt and I were seperated at birth and have the same clean freak genes.

But its on like donkey kong. Better hope it doesn't rain in nc here this weekend...bwahahaha

Welp I think I qualify for being a member of the clean freak club haha. Nobody understands how it takes me 6-8 hours to wash/clean my rigs(twice a week). Q-tips are a cleaning supply to me lol(vents, lugholes, cupholders) for my truck being 8 years old it still outshines everything at a dealership around here. not to say it hasn't seen it's share of mud! I even polish out the magnaflow once a week!

Todays results:

even waxed the rims yo!

I agree with the few folks that stated a true clean freak is someone who can take a moment in time and have their truck ready in no time. I think I can give anyone a run on here. Let me know what you think!
