Default Major Cleaning Overhaul Tomorrow --- Need Some Tips

I have a Red, 2001 Ford Ranger XLT 3.0 4x2. I will be cleaning my truck %100 Tomorrow. Taking Seats out, Spraying Carpet Cleaner, Vacuuming, Taking Truck Bed Off, Jacking truck up, Taking off Wheels, Cleaning Chassis and Under Carriage, Spray-painting rust spots, Cleaning Engine Bay, Mass Air Flow Sensor, Throttle Body, Idle Air Control, Painting the Radio Bezel Red, Washing, Waxing/Buffing, and Polishing all of the chrome. (Well that was a mouth full ... and yes twss...)

It is going to be 95 degrees tomorrow and I want to finish all of this as soon as humanly possible (So I don't somehow die of heat stroke).
(P.S.) If there are Forum Links to some of my questions (Pic Threads preferred) feel free to link...

1. What is the easiest way of removing both of my front seats? I have not done this before.

2. Easiest way of removing the Chrome/Plastic wheel hub that covers the bolts without scratching it.

3. Easiest way to remove the entire truck bed.

4. Best way to thoroughly clean the engine bay. (I want mine Like SLT's haha)

5. The location of the IAC on the 3.0

6. Any and All tools I will need for all of the above ^

Thanks Again!! Any Help is Appreciated!

Edit: Some Pics of what it looked like after it's last wash. (3 Weeks ago)

i am not sure you will get to all of that within one day lol unless you have a buddy or two help. the front seats should be straight forward, two bolts in the front and two in the back. and for the bed i believe it requires a t80 torx bit? (correct me if i am wrong anyone) but the easiest way to remove the bed is to spray the bed bolts with some pb blaster tonight, make sure you soak those bastards, and when you go to pull it off remember to remove your gas tank filler tube (the three screws in the gas door) and disconnect your tail light harness. i found that if you have a tight enough grip, you can remove the hub cap with your hands. i am not sure where the IAC is on the 3.0 but if your engine has the plenum it might be on the drivers side closest to you. but anyways if you can get all of that done tomorrow HATS OFF TO YA lol sometimes i will start 8 am and finish around 6pm. and that's just detailing my truck lmao.

EDIT: btw there are 6 bed bolts (the heads are located inside the box so if you have a bed liner you will need to remove that.)

Thanks for the tips. I upload some pics I took about 3 weeks ago of the truck lol. Is the bed much of a pain in the @$$ to get off?

yea if there is no penetrating fluid soaked in prior to unbolting. everything else is pretty simple, me and a friend lifted mine out. i found that after the head of the bolt is off of the bed a little bit you can spray some pb blaster or whatever you are going to be using down on the threads, and letting that seep into the threading it will make your life alot easier. be careful not to break any bolts either. i broke one and had to pull one from a junk yard. rather then paying 12 bucks from FORD lol

anyways nice truck, looks as if its pretty mint as it is. good luck!

Well i can tell u right now you won't get all that done in one day. When I polish my wheels alone, it takes 5 hours lol. I have done just about all of those things on your list and ask around I AM "Mr. Clean"of the forum. I have taken my bed off to clean hlthe truck, take my wheels off periodically to clean and polish them, and keep my truck immaculate.

Id start with any of the underbody stuff. Then move to the bed. It take a t-55 star socket for the bed bolts. you WILL need two or three people to get the bed off. Me and a buddy done mine and it was still a bitch. Take the tailgate off to make it easier. Also don't forget to disconnect the fuel filler neck and unplug the tailights harness.

The seats are easy, its just four bolts; 15mm I believe but don't quote me. Just undo em and take seats out.

As for the engine, whike it is warm, spray it down with Simple Green. make sure to cover the coil pack, distribution box, and alternator with aluminum foil. Once u have sprayed it down, use a brush and a mitt to scrub engine. Once its all clean, rinse and dry. Then take a good detailer (I use Meguiars natutal shine) and wipe down all plastic.

For the centercaps, a scredriver will work.

Everything u have on that list is about a two to three day job. Here is my recent clean thread:

I dont believe 1 person could do that all by them selves in 1 day,

Good luck and Scott nailed it on what to do.

Did everything except the interior and taking the wheels and bed off today .... a thunderstorm rolled in and I was quite livid to say the least, so now I have to redo all of the chrome. But I did manage to clean my IAC, Throttle Body and my intake valve. The truck runs like a beast now to say the least. Also painted my Air intake hose red
