Default Cleaning the engine

Looking for some opinions, can I take a pressure cleaner to my engine? I only ask because it is a bit old and I'm not into wrecking my pride and joyto clean something people don't see lol
Thanks in advance =D.

If you can hook your hose up to hot water it helps a bunch to remove grease, oil and the like. I plumbed my house and shop with a hot water faucet outside, but you can also hook it to the drain on your water heater if you have enough hose to reach to where you wash your truck. You would not believe the difference.

some gunk engine degreaser works great. thats all i ever use on every car i clean for friends and family. spray it on let it sit for about 10 minutes then take the power washer to it and really get the spots good before moving on to the next spot
