9scan i spray it down with degresser (the green stuff) let it sit then spray it with a pressure washer?

or is there a better way?

I like to get my warm then spray it down with simple green. Let sit for 10 minutes

I cover the battery, alternator and dist box (area with fuses) Then hose it down

I also remove the air filter on my aftermarket intake

warm up the motor or warm water?

also spray it down with a normal hose or pressure washer?

Warm up the engine I generally useva garden hose.
