i have black magic and used it for the first time couple weeks ago. i like it a lot more cus before the tire and my black rims looked funky but with the tire shine seems a lot nicer. it does collect dirt faster but it hasnt been bad for me.
heres the difference in the look without and with tire shine with my black rims.

Gawd Scott hey when you shop for brand new tires do you haggle for a discount claiming that they need to be cleaned up a little?

I think most people who use it act like they're spreading jam on a bagel. So it looks like they drove through a puddle of vasoline. I'd imagine it has to be worked in a little and then the excess removed. I've seriously never seen it done right. So maybe it's just wrong.

Armor All on dash boards should be called Glare All. clean sidewalls are the best. no tire shine for me...maybe a hint of detailer on the red lettering on my tires but thats it.

Dont use ANYTHING armor-all. I use Stoner products for the tire dressing. I use it on ALL my rigs (mustang included). Also their Invisible Glass works great.

I use a gel and dab it on ost the times that way it's not super thick, I think it makes ya rims and tires better IMHO plus gel lasts for weeks compared to spray and foam

i dont use anything anymore. the gels can sling everywhere and get on the paint and take forever to get off. i had used the black magic spray, that stuff is good, but all the stuff collects soo much dust!

now i just spray with wheel and tire cleaner and use a tire scrub brush. They look clean and STAY clean better.

Nope you aint the only one that hates Armorall. I hate the shit. It stinks like hell, slings every where and collects dust too easily imo. The interior crap aint no better at all. About all I use is Turtle Wax ICE total interior care and Black Magic's All Wheel Cleaner. Ohter than that, I wax my truck once a year and clean out the interior as needed. I also go to a local carwash and hose it off as needed. You see black paint is indeed almost impossible to keep clean.

Meguiars makes a tire shine spray called Hot Shine. I used it for my business all the time, there is no slinging afterwards and will not leave your tires brown once it wears off like some of the armorall foams

ive used that stuff before but those cans go fast.
