Question Flat black to SHINY?

The guy before me either spray painted the whole truck really well with flat black paint, or got a cheapo maaco job of flat black. Can I buff it up and wax it to make it shiny or at least not so flat?

Try some wax on a small spot to see if you like the change, it will change the look.

Alot of the shine comes from the clear coat, I really dont see a flat black ever coming to a shine. If it is a Maaco job, they shoot clear but remember you get what you pay for

Nice sig by the way lol....You move quick

You're right, Clinton - it won't really shine but it might give it a little bit of a satin effect.

Yeah you might get a satin effect with a slight shine.
