Re: WOW..Unbelievable!!!
When I got my truck it had a nasty odor inside and stains on the seats and armrest. Took them out, hosed them down on the driveway and cleaned them twice with SG and the ends of my fingers as a scrub brush. Got rid of the odor and the fabric looked like new. Also used under the hood - I use a soft brush to help things along as well.

Re: WOW..Unbelievable!!!
i love simple green, probibly go through a gallons of it a week at work just for the stuff i clean. sucks our new stupervisor won't order it anymore.... i guess it works too well.
something else it works GREAT for is cleaning the raised white letters on tires. spray on, scrub it real gentle with a light duty scotch brite pad, hose it off, and the letters look like brand new.

Re: WOW..Unbelievable!!!
Yeah the engine degreaser is like using windex to get get gum out of your hair.
Simple Green or "Oil Eater Orange Cleaner/Degreaser" are the only things that work very well.

Re: WOW..Unbelievable!!!
Simple Green is the shizz. I buy the 1/2 gal size at my local Ace
store. I started using it to clean gas R/C cars, and discovered
many uses for it. My wife uses it in the kitchen. I also used it to
clean my ranger's arm rest (thanks FRF!) And will soon pull my
drivers' seat for a good cleaning. It's also my favorite wheel
cleaner.

Yep. I even followed the instructions to a T, and it still wasn't worth a damn. I call it liquid shit in a can.

You really should cause it is good shit. The only other degreaser I would use other than SG, is Greased Lightning's Orange Blast which is made of pure orange oil extract along with other citrus fruits that are high in natural acid content. They're damn good for cleaning. The Orange Blast works right before your very eyes if you use Greased Lightning's version of it.

Re: WOW..Unbelievable!!!
Tried Simple Green on my engine bay for the first time yesterday, it's alright I guess. It probably wouldve been more impressive if my engine bay was really dirty. It's not like it worked way better than Gunk Engine Brite did for me. I even scrubbed the inner fender liners with the Simple Green (which Ive never done), rinsed, and afterwards they came out looking exactly the same. WTH? My engine bay smells like liquorice now but pretty much looks the same.
Don't know why everyone hates Gunk Engine Brite, it worked well for me. Though I can tell Simple Green is a good product.
My input will probably kill this thread like it always does.
