Car paint store was closed today. I'll have to run by tomorrow. I stopped at Auto Zone, just to see if anyone there had any suggestions, and the guy said, "Nope, you'll just have to put another rain guard over it cause that stuff will never come off no matter what you use." I'm hoping he was just trying to make a sale or a total idiot because I don't want another rain guard I just want the glue gone.

I finally got it! I put more goo gone on it and then used a hair dryer and worked fishing line to get up underneath it. The hair dryer made it pliable and the fishing line pulled it up with out scratching the paint. Very happy camper!

I'm guessing he was likely a total idiot, and possibly also trying to make a sale.

did you try the Goo Gone Xtreme ?? ...it's available in WalMart in the paint section.

It's about 2-3 hours from Indy. Auburn is near Fort Wayne, Indiana.

I have pics now...

BEFORE: (with rain guard)

AFTER: (without rain guard or sticky stuff!)

If I put new ones on I plan to get the in channel ones so there is no GLUE! (originally there was only one on the driver's side and the reason I took it off was because it looked stupid with only one side having it)
