I got mothers clay bar for christmas I cant't wait to try it out this spring

Yes do it, I have roughly 20 boxes of yellow clay bar, it carries 2 per box, It is the original clay bar that the US wont carry and banned, I get mine from Autopia in Canada, I have a great friend who buys it for me and sends it to me, I don't think Autopia carries it anymore, but I got it on sale for $5 per box 2 years ago. what a steal.

Go get the new Meguiars Ultimate polish and the Ultimate wax. Just came out. It's their 2011 product. About 24 for the wax and 10 for the polish but overall results once applied is fantastic. A must buy for sure!

Oh and trust me on that, don't get anything else. I have a black truck and I used almost everything. From Turtle wax ice, to their black box then Meguiars NXT. Now their new wax out beats everything IMHO.

HAHA sweet man. And just make sure you got the truck all preped up before putting on the wax. Wash and dry, then clay bar it, then pre polish it with the new Meguiars pre polish and lastly put on the wax. Than finish wiping it using a microfiber towel and your good to go.

What is a good seal to get for the truck? After picking the truck up from the shop tomorrow, it's going to look so dirty. So I would need to compound, wash/dry, clay then wash/dry then pre polish and wax and seal. I just need a god sealant. Thanks

the claying leaves marring, and the residue from it would not be helpful if you were to go from claying to waxing, I have been doing this for 30 plus years and all my vehicles get the same treatment, so washing the ranger after claying it would only provide you with the added protection of having a clean surface and ready for wax.
