Re: Paint, Mod, or Decals?
Other than putting his name in chrome color on either side of the back end (just for now to cover up that one little fiber glass chip that I couldn't fix because it was lower than the bed liner) I haven't done anything else. Haven't been able to decide what I want to do yet.
I thought about putting this decal on the back window, but decided against it because I am not real sure I like decals that are words. LOL

Re: Paint, Mod, or Decals?
I'm a woman...I don't use blinkers remember? LOL I'll have to save a little before doing anything more expensive Right now with the new Indiana fighter's rules and the state boxing/mma commission laws I have to pay out of pocket for my blood work, physical, CAT scan, and my fighter's card registration. I have to get all that done and paid for in less than two weeks or I can't fight on the 19th of this month...so once again mod money being used for something else.

Which blinker mod are you talking about? I thought you meant putting the LED's on the mirrors.

Hell, I'm still trying to get the money together, without spending it first, to get my tattoo fixed. It's driving me crazy!

Yeah, the ones I put on ARE those cheap chrome "like" letters from AutoZone, but you won't want to use them if you plan to leave them on for any length of time. They are, after all, cheap and don't really look very good. I only used them because I have a piece of chipped fiber glass and until I can get it fixed I simply covered it up with the letters. They aren't a long lasting solution and will probably blow or fall off before I even get the chance to fix the stupid fiber glass.

But be careful and check local laws. HID kits that are not installed from the factory are actually illegal in most states and from personal experience from my Nissan 240SX, the fines can be hefty since aftermarket HID kits are more than often able to cause other drivers night blindness and cause accidents.

Re: Paint, Mod, or Decals?
If you're looking to learn a bit and get your hands dirty though I would suggest talking to a paintshop and having a painter show you how to paint a vehicle. Maybe throw some ghosted graphics of some sort on your hood or sides, or paint on whatever else you like on the fenders just to get an idea of how to paint and as an added bonus, it's a trade that you never forget and can eventually make money on the side with. Duplicolor has DIY kits that come with base coats, primer (same thing really), paint color of your choice, and clear coat. I am re-painting my truck in the summer because the Oxford white paint looks like crap, and the front bumper is starting to get surface rust on it, so it's a two birds with one stone deal.
But honestly unless you want to throw on some Hurst, Magnaflow, or other go-fast stickers there's not a whole lot asthetically you can do for cheap, but sometimes just trying something can change your opinion. Shoot, I strongly dislike window stickers and go fast stickers and I now have a window sticker with my Army units crest and my rank, and on the back of my truckcap I have a sticker I bought at a trade show that says ''Ford, eats Chevy, S**ts Dodges.''
