Default Paint, Mod, or Decals?

What's the best way to make your truck "your own"?

I want something unique that can be distinguishable from other people's trucks, but don't want to pay an arm and a leg for it. I realize a lot of what I want is going to cost a lot, but is there something easy and not too expensive to start out with that will show "This is MY truck" when I'm driving down the road? (Besides a sticker that says, "This is MY truck", for those who will no doubt suggest that. LOL)

I'd wait on the paint, as you seem to have a nice paint job still.
Maybe some wheels and tires. Maybe an exhaust to give it that one of a kind Kat sound. HiD kit maybe?
There are sooo many things you can do.

Wheels difenatly set trucks apart from one another.
There are only a few things you can do exterior wise that are some what cheap that make a truck look great.

I was thinking more on the lines of decals or "splash" across the sides (not sure what it's actually called, but it's the large decals). How stupid would that be or look?

HID = High-intensity discharge
they are headlight bulbs brighter then stock. Commonly found on high end cars like BMW

Ah! Thank you. Not sure I'd like that. I know I want some fog (or off road) lights on a roll bar or on a front grill bar. Is that the same thing?

You could always become a site contributor and add a fordrangerforum.com decal.

HID replace your factory headlight bulbs

off road lights add more lights to what you currently have. Adding foglights is not hard.

You could always install some wrapping vinyl to the colours you want, or designs.

Best part is it doesn't damage your paint when you're tired of it and want to remove it.

You could also add the newer ranger badge 2006+

they also have them that have XLT on the bottom if it matters to you.

Transformers emblems!

just kidding

If not HIDs, you can always buy white bulbs like silverstar or some models of eurolites (the ones with a year warranty type) and such, it improves the look of your lights a lot.
