Lightbulb ever done this before?

I just got a little hand held shampooer/vacuum. I was wondering if anyone has ever used one in their truck before, if so any tips to offer to save me some time? Also i plan on pulling the seats out and taking my degreaser/wheel cleaning chemical combo to get the grease and dirt out of the seats.

I have the bissel green machine. It does a great job, heats the water and has a high powered extractor to pull the junk out. The hot water and extractor is what does the job, and you can try using high traffic area carpet shampoo or pet stain shampoo, I found those to be the best when I detailed

Personally, I would take the carpet out and clean it in the driveway. Take the kick pannels off, the bottom door trim, and the seats, and the seat belts (Middle). Pull the carpet, lat it down in the drive way and use a industrial type of shampoo machine with industrial cleaner.

While you have the seats out do the seats also, while the carpet is drying.

If your going to do that much work to get it out why not just run it through a double load washing machine?

I plan on taking my carpet to the car wash and use the pressure gun on it after i scrub it down good.

I do want to get one of them small machines i think it would work great for the headliner and all of the other smaller areas

I have 2 Bissel Pro Heat 2x uprights and a Dyson Animal.
Use 'em in the house on the carpet, furniture, rugs and bare floors.
Use 'em in the truck too. They come with all the attachments for upholstery.

Thumbs up on the bissell little green. We put the "knock off" Resolve from the dollar store in ours to save money! It has the same effect as the bissell expensive soap!

Bucket of hot water with upholstry cleaner and odor remover and a scrub brush on the seats. Scrubbed the crap out of them using liberal amounts of the liquid in the process. Used an industrial shop vac as I did a 1/3 of a section of the seats at a time. Also scrubber the life out of the center console arm rest. Did the armrest three times before the mud like stuff quit coming out. Took about two days to dry, but the interior has never been this clean. Considering spraying now with 3M Scotchguard for some added protection for the future. Bottom line is that these interiors can really take some scrubbing with little negative effect.
