Default Swirls/ Shallow scratch removal?

Hello,
I have a YZ 2010 with about 14k on it. I used to park next to my door in my old apartment, and they had a tree out front. It rubbed against my hood, and left little marks that washing doesn't remove. It wasn't the branch, it was one of those short trees with big leaves here in socal. I think its a type of palm.
Anyway, whats the best way to get those little marks out of the paint? A polish? Claybar? Wax?
Thanks!

Best thing from my experience is Meguiars ultimate compund and use it with an orbital buffer, then wipe it off by hand. Then wax it. Use a bit of elbow grease too

Is it possible to apply that by hand?

YZ = high performance white? wax with an abrasive cloth like terrycloth (wash rag) in a circular motion.. if that doesn't suit you, buffing/then waxing is recommended.

Terry, YZ as in oxford white. Thanks, I will try that. Any wax recommendations? Should I try a cleaner wax or something like Meguiars Tech Wax? PS, almost 1000 posts!
Clinton, Thanks! I'll have to see what I can do. Maybe if I feel a little better today, haha

Terry, the wax did the trick! Thanks! The NXT stuff is AWESOME btw. My first time waxing a car, and I think it went well. I was just going to do the hood, but wow did it really make that YZ pop! So now the whole truck is done, haha.

Oh, and while waxing I found a few spots of paint chips D: looks like its time to buy a good touch-up paint! Any suggestions? Duplicolor? Or just factory?
